Category Participant
What you'll do:

- Attend free biomimicry training
- Use the biomimicry methodology to discover and communicate the strategies of natural models
- Help host a fun Design Jam! event

Category Lead
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
With our help, you will:

- Serve as contact person for chosen category
- Meet with Category Mentor
- Organize working group participant training meeting
- Organize participants during Discovery research and Design Jam! card development
- Schedule, plan and help facilitate a Design Jam! event
- Compile and add research and design ideas beta tool
BENEFITS
In addition to those listed for Participants, Category Leads will:

- Be recognized as a leader in the emerging field of biomimicry
- Be listed as a leader of the Deep Roots Initiative on project materials and submittals
- Be on the project team short-list for potential projects and case study opportunities
Category Mentor
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
With our help, you will:

- Meet with Category Lead
- Attend first meeting and speak about your specific knowledge as part of the training
- Speak with Category Lead as needed to clarify ideas
- Review materials submitted by working group for accuracy
- Publicize work and events to your networks
BENEFITS
In addition to those listed for Participants, Category Leads will:

- Be recognized as an industry leader in the emerging field of biomimicry
- Be recognized as a mentor to Biomimicry Chicago on our website, social media, and project materials
- Be vetted as a paid consultant for projects and case studies
Partner Organization
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Help publicize events to your networks via email and social media
- Contribute knowledge and expertise by participating in working groups
- Make connections for Biomimicry Chicago to for further knowledge and funding opportunities
